Description:
FibreNetwork Planner.
Location: London.
Salary: Between £35k - £40k per year (dependant on experience).
Working hours: Monday to Friday, standard day shifts.
Concept Resourcing currently have an excellent opportunity with a highly reputable brand within the networking industry. We are a looking for an experienced leading engineer to be responsible for ensuring the DeliveryPartner is carrying out their operations on time, to specification regarding Quality, Health & Safety as well as monitoringany Environmental impacts and the site documentation is returned to ensure the asset record is correct.
Your responsibilities:
* Support for the Delivery Partner ensuring engineering standards are adhered to.
* Carry out audits and observations using Engage on a daily basis.
* Ensures that all on site operatives have the appropriate accreditation's for the task/installations being performed
* Ensure Delivery Partners have site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements in place for all activities carried out on site.
* Risk and Issue identification and escalation into the Project Manager responsible for the build.
* Ensure deliverable meet required quality standards.
* Ensure adequate levels of documentation are produced as part of the technical solution.
* Ensure business benefits can be realised or that risks inhibiting realisation are highlighted.
* Ensure the 'as-built' documentation is correct and properly completed.
* Complete a 'Lessons Learned Report' to include the learning from each build and share with the Project Management team.
* Analyses and investigates product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
* Works with the delivery partner to resolve construction issues and liaise with fibre planners as required
* Oversees testing of the network andsign off network is built to engineering standards
* Provide timely reports on construction progress as required
* Implementthe company complaint procedures with on-site observations to properly capture evidence and complete a report on the findings.* Leads by example, role models behaviours in line with the ITS values and behaviours.
The candidate:
* A thoroughknowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
* Knowledge of Cable installation techniques.
* Knowledge of Openreach PIA Engineering Systems
* An understanding of method statements and risk assessments.
* An understanding of CDMRegulations.
* An understanding of the New Roads & Streetworks Act 1991 (NRSWA).
* Must hold a full clean driving license.
* Must have a valid DBS check.
* Must be willing to work away from home.
