I'm currently working with a design consultancy based in Southampton, who specialise in the design and development of wireless sensing products.
They're a well-established company, providing wireless communication technology to defence and commercial sectors for over 30 years. Due to continued success and a rapid increase of sales, they're looking for an FPGA design engineers to join their team.
The role will suit an FPGA design engineer with 2-5 years experience, whois confident in their VHDL design capabilities and enjoys interaction with other engineers.
Due to the flexibility of the role, you'll develop and grow your existing skills by having the opportunity to work on both Xilinx and Altera FGPAS using VHDL/Verilog. Additionally, as their products use embedded processors, you'll get to utilise your skills in embedded C.
Technical Skills Required:
* Degree educated within Electronics or an Engineering discipline
* Xilinx/Altera FPGA Design using VHDL andVerilog
* Embedded C
* An understanding of digital signal processing principles
