FULL TRAINING + PROGRESSION + MOREGet Recruited are currently supporting a rapidly expanding business based in Southampton who are seeking a Trainee IT HelpdeskTechnician to join their team.
As the Trainee IT Helpdesk Technician, you will be required to manage end users in line withprocesses set by the business.

THE TRAINEE IT HELPDESK TECHNICIAN ROLE:
* You will act as the first point of contact for all customer queries, ensuring that customercalls are answered in line with KPI's
* Respond to customer email's in a timely and professional manner
* Listening to thecustomer's enquiry, before making sure that all faults are expedited in line with customer expectations
* Manage assigned faults in the 1st Line team members queue within SLA's
* Manage WIP's to ensure pending end user and confirm that clear cases areassigned to relevant teams
THE PERSON:
* At least 6 months experience within a 1st line support, customer service, call centre or phone-based position is essential
* Qualifications or degree in IT related discipline is essential
* Demonstrated understanding of technical troubleshooting and fault finding
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Ability to professionally respond to customers
* Flexibility to work weekends
* Ambitious individual with the desire to progress within thecompany
