Are you a Bid Writer? Do you want to work with one of the leading TMC companies inthe UK? Then this role might be for you! We are looking for a Bid Writer to join our client who are based in Central London.JOB PURPOSE:
As an integral part of the sales team, you will have the ultimate responsibility for collation and presentationof the RFIs and the RFPs which will result in the sales team hitting they're for new business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Putting together strong bids to get the sales team through to presentation stage and winning business
* To ensure that all bid collateral is up to date and relevant
* Follow process for effective management of the tender, including production of drafts for review within agreed timelines
* Ensure that all information (electronic and/or hard copy) relating to client data are securely stored in accordance with instructions
* Engage with BDM to gain insight into the client's requirements and culture and clear understanding USP's
* Main task is organising time to ensure all responses are prepared professionally, answer all questions in the document and delivered to the customer on time through working closely with the sales team
* Use fonts, colours, andother guidelines as per the FCM Brand
* Use both internal and external resources and people to gain additional information onthe client and on FCM's organisation/capabilities
* Ensure information is up to date in bids and that subject matter expertsare engaged in time to produce high level answers
* Use tender submissions to update RFPIO and give visibility to this information to all the sales team
* Work with marketing to constantly update the presentation of documentation
* Monthly UK sales team meetings, plus annual Flight Centre UK events and annual global Bid Writers' meeting.
* Weekly and biweekly sales meetingsand upskilling to maintain knowledge
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* An understanding of Corporate Sales process and RFP process in general
* Strong writing skills
* High attention to detail
* Good at working under strict pressurised deadlines
*Experience formatting documents in MS Office suite
