Do you have proven experience at driving sales and selling to Tour Operators? Are you a proven relationship builder?
A well-known travel company based in Central London are looking for a European Directorof Sales to join their team.
You will be responsible for driving sales (particularly in the managed market' of France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom). You will be managing the Directors of Sales in the European 'managed markets', ensuring revenue and yield targets are met, and guiding the planning and execution of a comprehensive sales plan in each country, consistent with the objectives of the Destination Management Companies.
General overviewof duties:
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients, increasing revenue and ensuring an effective action plan for each account is implemented.
* Prospect for new clients with particular focus on volume business from tour operators,wholesalers, group operators, retail networks and luxury specialists.
* Gather customer and market information, ensuring thatregular sales performance reports are produced, and keep internal relations up to date with key developments.
* Develop a thorough understanding of the markets the DMCs and Sanctuary operate in, and of the company's competitors, and lead the formulationof a successful strategy.
* Assist with the European Managed Markets with the production of the annual revenue budget togetherwith the DMCs and Sanctuary management, if required.
* Prepare the annual overhead and marketing budgets in cooperation withthe finance departments in UK and US, manage the ongoing expenditure, and be cost conscious.

* Wide range of knowledge within the Travel Industry - key markets (Germany, France, Spain and UK)
* Have an existing network of contactsin key tour operators will be a big plus.

The package:
This position is paying a basic salary of Circa £96,000 and will be located in the Central London office (although hybrid option available).Interested:
