THE ROLE
*Working to the deadlines set out by the daily ticketing report.
*E-mailingSales Team Leaders/Sales consultants every morning of pending files that require ticketing.
*Issuing IT nett fares and published fares for all Tailor Made itineraries files.
*Ensuring all tickets are issued in line with the airlines terms and conditionsand are issued accurately and on time.
*Ensure that tickets are issued in line with the calculated cost indicated in the howto book notes and advise Operations Manager and Product and Sales Manager of any discrepancies.
*Issuing all ad-hoc, Staff and Press airlines tickets.
*Adding all API's and contact details to the airline booking where appropriate.
*Issuing group tickets which can involve emailing and working closely with airlines we hold allocation with. Plus assisting the Operations team withgroup ticketing.
*Investigating and responding to ADM's and rejecting them as required. Ensuring the follow up of any ADM's iscarried out.
*Working closely with the Operations Manager and Product Managers. Monitor all flight allocations for brochure tours, ad hoc and special groups.
*Checking ticketing email and responding to any queries and any urgent ticketing requests.
*Monitor queue manager and redirect any failed queues to the relevant queues.
*Advising sales team of any schedule changes for any failed queues.
*Advise the Operations Manager and Product Manager of any schedule changes to group allocations.
*Offer support and reissue / revalidate any PNR's affected by schedule changes in accordance to the airline rules.
*Assist in the dispatch of confirmation documentation which involves invoice and letter printing in addition to binding of tour notes.
