Description:
Do you have experience of planning Group travel for meetings, conferences and events?
Have you got experiencedealing with a mixed business travel client base and using Amadeus?
As a Group Travel Planner you will be responsible for ensuring top level delivery of group travel requirements and will be the main point of contact for clients, arranging their transportation needs for meetings and events throughout the year. Ensuring all attendees are accommodated to arrive and depart their meetings on time with their air and rail accommodations requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Determine purpose of the meeting with client contact
* Identify stakeholder needs
* Prepare program outline for deliverables
* Design program details to meet needs of participants and identify successful criteria for evaluation of meeting
* Identify ancillary revenue sources and/or cost savings opportunities* Ensure completion of payment and/or billing process
* Manage to budgets
* Establish communication and program update process
* Provide program feedback to all stakeholders through summary and program debrief
* Establish invitation/registration procedure
* Assess risk management needs
* Determine additional services required such as trip disruption and onsite assistance is needed
* Provide air spend and arrival and departure reporting
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Minimum 3+ years of currentgroup air experience required
* Experience with use/knowledge of meeting registration tools a plus
* Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite, above average excel and PowerPoint skills
* Strong knowledge of GDS - Amadeus
* English competency* Effective oral and written communication skills
PACKAGE:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive basicsalary OF £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience, hybrid or fully remote working.
