Our client is an award-winning, leading luxury travel specialist who are very well-established and extremely successful within their sector are now looking for a Worldwide Travel Specialist to join their established sales team. Are you a self-motivated, customer service focused individual who is passionate about sellingluxury holidays and providing the perfect travel experience for your client every time? Are you able to build significant repeatand referral custom through outstanding customer service, sales ability and excellent product knowledge?
The ideal candidate will be experienced in selling tailor-made long-haul holidays and have a real passion for travel and customer service. If youhave previously worked in retail travel, worked for a tour operator or if you have been flying across the globe working for anairline and are now looking for progress to become part of an award winning, luxury travel company then this could be the idealjob for you!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Selling Worldwide tailor-made holiday and tours face to face, via telephone and email. All ofthe enquiries will be for worldwide destinations, and with many of the enquiries/bookings being for multi-centres and tours, direct customers and Agents. Candidates living in the Reading, Wokingham and the surrounding areas are in good locations, for thisfantastic luxury Berkshire based role.
Responsibilities include:
-Create detailed itineraries to customer's exact requirements face to face, via the telephone and email
-Source ground arrangements with overseas supplier.
-Using your travel industry experience and solid destination / product knowledge to assist you in advising your clients on their options.
-Deliveringexcellent levels of customer service, maintaining the strong reputation of this travel company.
-Using GDS, daily.
-Must beflexible to work shifts including weekends.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
This is an excellent position working for an established,well respected name in luxury travel. Previous travel industry experience is essential, having worked in either retail travel,tour operations or as cabin crew you will use your excellent, first hand destination knowledge to create long lasting and memorable experiences for your clients. This is an opportunity that's not to be missed!
THE PACKAGE:
You can expect a fantasticbasic salary is on offer in the region of £17000 - £19000, in addition to this a bonus and commission structure is in place seeing you boost your earnings plus the chance to travel to these wonderful overseas destinations.
