This is a unique opportunity for a person looking for their next big adventure with Travel PR experience to join a successful and fast-growing agency, with a long-standing industry reputation, that prides itself on delivering results which truly delight and exceed client expectations.
The Role:
The position of PR Account Director will suit a motivated and entrepreneurial PR professional who wants a key role in a global, highly successful and rapidly expanding agency.
You'll support in new business development alongside the leadership team and continue to develop skills, from strategy to overall account management, presenting and influencing, to new business proposal writing and pitch preparation.Duties:
* New busines proposals and budget development
* Manage a range of international tourism clients including NTOs, Hotels and Resorts
* Develop media strategies, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
* Coordinateof all public relations activities
* Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
* A creative mind to secure editorial opportunities for clients and the business
* Content creation including pressreleases, pitching and other editorial copy
* Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results
* Press trip organisation and hosting
* Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis.
* Influencer and Celebrityendorsement
* Create and distribute press releases with junior team members
* Attend and manage key industry PR events
* Arrange press conferences and other public appearances
* Work alongside the leadership team on new business pitches and supportwider business growth
Experience:
* A strategic mind that can be a self-starter to lead and execute campaigns
* At least 4-5years' experience managing travel/tourism/lifestyle and consumer clients
* A true people's person who excels in client relations and management
* An outstanding attention to detail (make sure you dot those i's and cross those t's!)
* You've got a solid range of contacts across the travel and tourism industry media
* Your organisation skills are top-notch
* Multi-tasking comes naturally to you
* You can empower and drive success through your team

* Strong client handling skills with motivation to deliver beyond a brief
* Strategically minded and results driven
* Confident to challenge PR techniques beyond media relations
* Established relationships with industry relevantjournalists and wider media
* Interest in current affairs and understanding consumer trends
* Outstanding organisation across billing, time management and processes
* New business skills/ developing pitches in response to RFPs/Tenders
* Ability tobe persuasive and ability to creatively write
