Description:
Are you passionate about travelling and touring? A young, upbeat and vibrant travel company are seeking a Product Executive to join them and bepart of their successful team.
As Product Executive you will undertake a range of tasks, projects and analysis that contribute to the growth and delivery of the product range.
This role requires a thorough understanding of contracting, product development and the groups touring market.
This role may also where necessary require some travel to negotiate contracts and liaise with suppliers.
THE JOB:
Contracting accommodation, meals and activity services.
Negotiating rates, payment terms, cancellation periods and room reductions.
Building and improving templates to contract services.
Assist with the management of product ranges.
Assist with product research, development and planning.
Maintaining supplier and accommodation databases.
Building andmaintaining operational tour and product schedules.
Prepare budgets, costings and pricing for trips.
Plus other tasks including analysing, project support, document accuracy, yield management, proofing of content.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Previous experience of a Product Executive for a travel company with groups and touring experience would be a distinct advantage.
Commercial awareness with strong negotiating skills.
Highly numerate and analytical.
Confidence in making decisions.
In-depth knowledge of portfolio destinations.
Experience with accommodation and activity suppliers and group travel.
Extensive Microsoft Excel
Ana general passion of all things travel!
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION:
Working Full Time, Monday to Friday, office hours, basedin West London.
THE PACKAGE:
For the successful candidate a competitive salary of circa £27,000 plus company benefits whichwill be discussed at interview stage.
