Product Manager looking after the Indian Subcontinent areas required the purpose of this role is to develop and maintain group touring and associated products within the Indian Sub-continent (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan) to ensure they successfully generate sales and profit for the business. This is a varied and challenging position. It offers a great opportunity to drive the development of an award-winning specialist brand and become an integral part of a dynamic, ambitious, innovative and growing business.
The Job:
*Work with all relevant areas of the global business at all levels to present, negotiate and agree commercially viable product solutions for the benefit of all global offices.
*Proactively improving existing products
*Analysingcompetitors' products
*Understanding the target customer and their requirements
*Understanding distribution channels and their requirements
*Ensuring sales and marketing requirements are met
*Ensuring financial objectives are met
*Ensuring that the product can operate in an effective manner
*Ensure that new products and changes to existing products are taken from the design phase to implementation while adhering to deadlines agreed with other areas in the business
*All elements of the product itinerary are fully detailed in planning sheets and contracts
*Ensure the product is effectively and correctly communicated tothe consumer via brochures, websites and other sales channels.
*Take complete ownership of the product range within your remitby competently and willing addressing any product issues as required even if these are not specifically stated within your job description.
Skills Required:
*Outstanding organisational skills, methodical and able to prioritise
*Attention to detail, systems orientated
*Strong commercial, analytical and numeracy skills
*Proven writing skills, including ability to develop brochures and other customer literature and accurately proof them
*Lateral thinking and problem-solving ability
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with flexible working hours
*Competencyusing Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
The Package:
*Competitive salary from £35,000 - £38,000 plus excellent company benefits
