I am looking for a travel industry Product & Operations Specialist to work for an award winning Tour Operator based in Brighton, this company creates specialist bespoke holidays and are seeking an experienced travel professional to join their Product and operations team. You will ideally have at least one year's experience of working within tour operations and have excellent World-wide product knowledge. If you arealready working in product or a travel consultant looking for something different, this is an amazing opportunity to join this award winning Tour Operator.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Product & Operations Specialist required for a leading, award winning TourOperator located in Brighton. My client is looking to appoint a keen and conscientious individual to join their product team. You will support the Product Manager in all aspects of their role including liaising with management and external partners.
Duties for this Product & Operations Specialist role:
*Assist the Product Manager as and when required in all aspects of their role
*Be accountable for the processes and protocols in-line with the travel industry guidelines
*Be responsible for the nuts and bolts of the pricing process
*Collate the data ready for your reports
*Monitor product performance
*Be accountable for trips to the many destinations and independently action ideas for improvement and development
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*At least 1 year's experience in a Product position in the travel industry
*To be fascinated by data
*To love creating and implementing processes
*To have an agile approach to planning and a proactive, can-do attitude
*Able to balance commercial prowess with making the world a better place
THE PACKAGE:
An excellent basic salary is on offer in the region of £20000 - £25000, which will be dependent on experience plus some fantastic company benefits.
