I have a fantastic opportunity for an Aftersales & Operations Executive with a keen eye for detail to join anestablished travel company in North London.
As an Aftersales & Operations Executive you will be dealing with back-officeamendments and providing an excellent customer service to the travel trade. If you are looking for a new challenge and to further your Operations experience within the travel industry, please apply now!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To deal with schedule changes from airlines
* To resolve issues raised by telephone calls or emails from travel agents quickly and efficiently
* To investigate and understand issues relating to requests from travel agents
* To amend or cancel reservations andto effectively action these requests
* Amending flying dates, up grading tickets, route changes, name changes, refunds and seat/meal request
* Amend hotel, car hire and transfer reservations
* To ensure that booking processes are streamlined by efficiently using queues, booking notes and email communication wherever relevant.
* To action ETA's (visa's), API's, Mobility Forms within set timeframes.
* To be able to work to targets and deadlines while maintaining the highest quality of customer carehandling.
EXPERINCE REQUIRED:
* Previous travel industry experience and product knowledge
* Good Geographical Knowledge.
* Calm persona.
* Well-travelled.
* Understanding of the sales process
* Excellent communication skills (Verbal& Written)
* Previous GDS system experience
* Flexible approach to work
* Ability to work in a pressurised environment
THE PACKAGE:
Successful applicant can expect a competitive package of £20,000 - £22,000 basic depending on experience
HOURS:
* Monday - Friday: 9.30am - 5pm / Saturday: 11am-4pm; (3-4 Saturday's a month and day off in lieu for working a Saturday)
