My client is a successful and fast-growing travel company based inNorth London and they are seeking a French Speaking Business Development Executive. With offices across the UK, Ireland and USAthey are always looking to adopt new and dynamic solutions for its clients.

The Job:
As a French Speaking Business Development Executive you will be producing suitable and competitive quotes for your clients.
Building and maintaining long lasting relationships with clients and suppliers.
You will be pro active and be able to recognise potential key wins and offer the most suitable products and prices for the client.
You will assume responsibility for your clients with both pending and confirmed groups, book all services required in good time and ensure all details are accurate.
Client handling via email and telephone.
Youwill ensure that all quotations are followed up within the specified timescales.

The ideal candidate should have the following quality and key skills:

*Language skills: Fluency in English and French are essential and a third language would be advantageous.

*Experience: a minimum of five years of experience in a UK and Ireland inbound operator in a group role for French Speaking client visiting these destinations. Proven experience of preparing quotes and operating groups touring in UK.
*Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of the UK as a destination. Excellent knowledge of rates and current market prices. Excellent knowledgeof French TO/GA specialized in Touring.
*Communication: the ability to be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
*Energy: you enjoy the buzzing energy of the travel industry and you are willing to invest time and effort to achieve your goals. You want to grow professionally and succeed in your job within the travel trade.
*Flexibility: to be able to adapt to every changing situations and being open to new ideas and people.
*Problems solving: you are able to identify andanalyse an/a existing/potential problem and find suitable solutions for each situation.
*Teamwork: you are a team worker, butyou are also able to work individually.
*Trust: you know your strengths as well as your opportunities to improve
*Organisational skills: great attention to detail and speed working under pressure. Ability to work in compliance with deadlines and prioritising key concrete opportunities first.

Summary of Role:

*To understand the client needs and to produce suitable and competitive quotes.
*To build relationships and maintain a great working relationship with your clients.
*Being pro-active and able to recognize potential key wins and to offer the most suitable products and prices for the specific potential client.
*To effectively contribute to grow our market share by cementing relationships with key stakeholders in the relevant markets of expertise.

Breakdown of role:

*To be able to identify which existing or new clients have the potential for a touring product development for the specific market.
*To be able to create a touring program based on the client request and the specific group needs.
*To be able to identify the most suitable products to be included in the touring program, in order to create the most effective and competitive offer.
*To be able to adjust and diversify the offers, depending on the travel season and the specific market demand.
*To acknowledge and qualify all new requests (via email and phone).
*To make sure that all offers are sent out inthe company standard format and are all entered correctly into the operational System.
*To ensure that your offer reflects whatthe client wants without compromising on quality of services and price of the offer.
*To ensure that all offers are correctlyfollowed up, following the instructions received during the training: first immediately and then within one week after sending the offer, and as per option expiry date given.
*To constantly update the bookings in the system with all the correct information in order to have a correct overview for yourself and management.
*To maintain good relationships with all clients and ensurethat any promises/deadlines that are made to them are kept.
*To build relationships with suppliers and ensure that your productknowledge is kept up to date at all times.
*To keep abreast of who our competitors are, who they work with (both clients and suppliers) and what they are offering.
*To deal with complaints as and when they arise in a professional manner.
*To hold periodically an emergency phone during the weekend, accordingly to your department rota.
*To organise and participate in any familiarisation trips that need to take place in order to win or facilitate a booking.
