Do you have previous travel experience within a retail or tour operator background?
I am seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join a reputable, established independent Travel Agency. My client has a number of branches across the UK and is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Sales Consultant to join their branch in Essex. This role will suit someone with good Travel Agency experience, excellent customer service and a passion for travel. An above average salary is available for the successful candidate!JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
* Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
* Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
* Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays
* Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
* Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
* Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment
* Passionate about travel and customer service
* Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude
THE PACKAGE:
* Salary is highly competitive, in the region of £23k dependent on experience
HOURS:
Working shifts Monday -Saturday between 9.00am - 5.30pm
