Riders who reach the age of 24 or have held the A2 restricted licence for 2 years, but who wish to ride larger bikes will need to pass a further test on an unrestricted 600cc bike. They may practice on a 600cc bike under the same practice conditions for direct access riders. You will revert to learner status while practicing (on an unrestricted 600cc bike) although test failure will not affect your existing licence. Once you pass your “A” motorcycle test you can then ride any motorbike or scooter of your choice.
Our A2 motorcycle licence courses are run from Wembley, and are perfect for those people who would like to get their A2 35kw (46.6bhp) Motorcycle licence. The A2 motorbike licence is a full motorbike licence, which allows you to ride any sized motorcycle of your choice without ‘L’ Plates, carry pillion passengers and use motorways.
