The RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course is a two day boat training course undertaken on one of our RIBs. It can be taken by anyone with no formal previous experience necessary (please note you DO NOT have to have undertaken Level 1).
During the two days you will look at how to handle the boat along with a basic introduction to navigation so you know where you can and can't go. This course listing is for exclusive use of the boat - usually where two people would like to attend a course together but may be where you prefer one to one tuition. (Alternatively find our other event listing for one person joining other students on the course). If you'd like three people to attend please contact us to book directly. We are able to be more flexible with course timings if you wish to start/finish earlier later etc to suit your group. Upon sucessful completion you'll be able to handle a boat on your own in daylight & favourable conditions. You can also then apply for your ICC or International Certificate to hire or use boats abroad (subject to eligibility).
If you have your own boat then we can undertake the course on your boat under 10m whether its a motorboat, speead boat or powerboat-please contact us for pricing. The Level 2 course is often referred to as the boat license course or undertaking powerboat training. This is a fantastic course and the most popular one we run.
