The Role
My client, a North Dublin based charitable organisation is urgently seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based position.
As an Administrative Officer,you will oversee all communications and support the CEO with day-to-day administration duties.
Tasks & Duties
*Communications
* Support the coordination of social media contact across various social media channels.
* Support the coordination of content for the company website.
* Support the development of marketing & PR materials.
* AdministrativeSupport to the CEO
* Diary management including scheduling meetings.
* Draft & monitor emails, correspondence and documents on behalf of the CEO.
* Generate & circulate reports for the CEO, Senior Management Team and other relevant stakeholders.
* Minute taking, filing and general administration.
* Carry out research as required.
* Additional Responsibilities
* Designated Data Protection Officer, overseeing GDPR obligations.
* Coordinate company events.
* Assist with grantapplications/funding applications.
* Coordinate & provide administrative support on projects required by the CEO's office.* Take part in internal and external working groups.
* Oversee parliamentary questions that come into the organisation.Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
* A minimum of a 2:1 Hons Degree in HR, Psychology, Communications, PR, Marketing, Business or other relevant discipline is essential.
* A minimum of 1 year experience in a comparable role is highly desirable.
* A full clean driving licence and access to own transport is essential. This position does require travel to variousservices and other events.
* Proficient in MS Office suite, Canva, various social media platforms.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team, maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Effective organisational skills with a strong ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
