Description:
A non-profit organisation which supports social inclusion and local and community development, is looking for a Climate Change Programme Coordinator to join the Social Inclusion Employment Unit. The job is permanent, and candidates can be based in any part of Ireland.
You will be responsible for ensuringthe highest level of quality and service is delivered to organisations by supporting:
* Programme design and specification.* Operational activities and tasks to ensure efficient and effective processing of applications and appraisals.
* Compliancewith programme rules and guidance, internal policies, procedures and controls.
* The preparation of progress reports, both internally and for externally
In order to be successful you will have:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of professional work experience preferably with knowledge or background in the community /voluntary / Public sector.
- Strong understanding and knowledgeof policy and practice in the areas of Climate Action/Sustainability/Just Transition
- Experience managing /implementing projects from inception to completion
- Experience operating consistently in a changing environment at an optimal level.
- Highly Proficient in use of MS packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics CRM; SharePoint applications and portals.
- A third level qualification to Level 8 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications, or equivalent.
- Drivers licence & provision of car for business purposes is essential.
