Support Worker - Swansea/ Neath / Port Talbot
Do you genuinely care about the welfare of other adults? Are you looking for a rewarding job providing personalised care to promote independent living within your local community? My client is currently looking for Support Workers who enjoy caring for adults with a learning or physical disability whilst maintaining their dignity, safety and independence. My client provides support for people with a learning or physical disability to live the life they choose in their own home within the communities of Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot. They are currently looking for flexible and committed SupportWorkers to provide a quality service to the people we support.
This role will include any cooking/preparing meals; housekeeping/laundry, accompanying the people they support at social, leisure, recreational activities, hobbies and providing personal care. Every person who is supported by this company is an individual and they will look to you to work in a safe and professional way. In this role you will be required to promote the independence of the people they support enabling them to develop new skillsand friendships and encourage them to enjoy a full life within the community.
You will have a passion for caring and assistingvulnerable people, you will have experience working in this sector. Due to the nature of this role you will be required to travel, therefore a full current driving licence is essential. This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
You will have the opportunity to work for a well-represented company, the role is flexible on full/ part time hours. There are a variety of shifts on a rota basis which include days, evening, weekends, wakeful nights, publicholidays and sleep in duties. This role pays minimum
