ACCOUNTANT
CENTRAL LONDON
UPTO £30,000 +25 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS BANK + LUCRATIVE BENEFITS
THE OPPORTUNITY:
I am currently recruiting exclusively for my clientbased in Central London for an Accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This is an extremely rare and exciting opportunity to join a very successful and niche business in the heart of London. Due to growth they're looking for someone tostart ASAP and offering strong fast-track progression with excellent job benefits.
The role will be to focus on supporting the finance and administration team with day to day transactions and administration work, as well as general office management. This role is central to a small team environment with exposure to Senior Management and Directors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* General bookkeeping, including journal entries
* Maintain and reconcile credit cards expenditures and statements
* Maintain andreconcile the bank accounts, cash postings
* Travel bookings and visa applications for head office and the project team
* Assisting the finance, admin and legal teams with typing and any MS suite tasks
* Answering the telephone, printing and filing* Meet and greet guests, manage office supplies, organise courier shipments
* Processing of VAT returns
* Assist in preparing payment runs
* Assisting with preparations of monthly management accounts
* Other adhoc tasks that may be required fromtime to time
THE PERSON:
* Minimum 2 years' experience within a similar role - Bookkeeper/Accountant
* Have qualified within AAT
* Fantastic eye for detail with strong data input skills
* The ability to liaise with Senior Management
* Strongwithin all Microsoft Office programmes including word and excel
* Fluent in French would be desirable but not essential to beconsidered for the role
