Accountant required for a leading Law firm inGibraltar to be in charge of the internal accounts preparation. You will be comfortable working on your steam, must have at least 5 years PQE experience in a similar role, with strong technical ability in basic accounting principles, invoicing, reconciliations, payroll and preparing accounts to trail balance. The role can be offered Part or Full time basis.

What You Will Be Doing
* Inputting transactions and preparing accounts to trial balance level
* Preparation of annual accounts with the assistance of our external auditors
* Preparation of tax returns
* Processing monthly payroll for our employees and updating records
* Review, reconcile and resolve issues with the daily revenue reporting
* Collation of transactions in order to reconcile the bank and cash accounts
* Accounts payable and receivable* Assisting with month end reporting
* Chasing payments as appropriate
* Preparation of all payroll reports (Net PayReport, PAYE & SI Report, Payslips and P7s)
* Petty cash review
* Overseeing the accounts receivable and payable process (receipts and payments)
* Accounting and budgetary control
* Liaising with and paying suppliers
* Cash & debtor management
* Bank reconciliation and cash-flow management
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Internal reporting
* Bank transfers
* Management of our office and client accounts
* Overview of our client account - payments and balances
* Other accounting duties as applicable
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
* Full AAT qualified with at least 5 years post qualified experience
* Previous experience in a law firm preferable but not essential
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to work independently or part of a team
* Good with managing workload and deadlines
* Excellent user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
