THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is working with a well-established, due to expansion are looking to recruit an experience Accounts and Finance Assistant.
We are looking for an experiencedand hardworking individual to join the team. A role has arisen for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Using Sage and Process invoices onto the purchase ledger
* Compile monthly and quarterly reporting information* Monitor debtors and produce statements to ensure any overdue payments are highlighted
* Maintain customer accounts and obtain credit reports when necessary
* Reconcile all inter-company accounts within sales and purchase ledgers#
* Produce VAT returns and Credit control duties
* Handling cash allocation and dealing with customer queries
THE PERSON:
* Must have previous experience in a similar role
* Have a proactive approach and an excellent work ethic
* Experience in using SAGEand strong Excel skills will be beneficial
* AAT qualified or Studying towards an advantage
* Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks an advantage
