ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
MANCHESTER
£25,000 to £30,000 + BENEFITS + PARKING AVAILABLE
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're exclusively recruiting on behalf of a highly successful business who is looking to expand their operation due to the continued growth. They're now seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to focus on the transnational accounts elements including; Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, Payroll and Bank / Supplier reconciliation, amongst other tasks.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join a fast-paced business where they can really grow their career.
THE ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT ROLE:
* Working within a busy office environment
* Responsible for raising all sales invoices
* Ensuring invoices and invoice reminders are sent to clients promptly
* Posting online sales on the appropriate nominal
* Running reports on Sageand Excel
* Submitting VAT on Sage
* General bookkeeping
* Preparing a preparing payroll for a small team
* Preparing monthly expenses and gaining approval before payment
* Bank reconciliation and ensuring accounts are accurate
* Liaising withthe external accountant who will produce year end
THE PERSON:
* Must have experience in either an Accounts Assistant orAssistant Accountant position
* Excellent numerical skills with a meticulous attention to detail
* Experience of Sage 50 orabove is essential, any experience of Sage Payroll would be a distinct advantage
* A confident communicator who can speak withsuppliers and business customers via telephone and email
* AAT Level 3 or above would be an advantage but is not essentialTO APPLY:
