We are recruiting for a Accounts Payable Assistant to join our growing clientin Edenderry Co Offaly. This is a full time,permanent position. You will be responsible for the accounts payable process and work with other team members to meet accounts deadlines and improve processes in place. This role will offer hybrid working following probation period.
A key focus of the role is invoice matching and processing and following up on invoice queries with suppliers
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing incoming invoices on to Accounts System
* Dealing with supplier queries
*Support procurement department
* Respond to calls and emails from suppliers seeking payment
* Reconcile supplier statementsreceived and investigation of any differences with the suppliers.
* Reconcile accruals
* Assist with payment run schedule.* Maintain supplier database contact details.
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in accounts payable
* Proficiency with Microsoft office applications including excel
* Good attention to detail
* Understanding ofcommercial business is an advantage
* 1 - 3 years' experience working in accounts team or in similar role.
* Experience supporting invoicing and reconciliation of accounts.
