THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a growing Manufacturing business in High Wycombe. They're looking to hire an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Assistant. The Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Assistant is working in an established Accounts Team of 5 and Reporting into the Financial Controller.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE / ACCOUNTS PAYABLE DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
* Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
*Allocate invoices to the correct project.
* Manage the weekly payment runs.
* Maintain listing of accounts payable.
* Maintain the general ledger.
* Maintain the aged debtor report
* Review any unpaid AP invoices and payments on account
* Maintain up-to-date billing system.
* Generate and send out invoices.
* Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
* Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
* Perform account reconciliations.
* Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
* Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
* Generate age analysis.
KEY EXPERIENCE:
* 2 - 3 years plus experience in a busy Accounts Payable / AccountsReceivable function
* AAT level 3 or above
* Competent with MS Excel
* Experience with NetSuite is desirable
THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SALARY IS UP TO £30,000 BASE + BENEFITS
