THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a well-established Property Development Business based in Newcastle They're looking to hire an Assistant Accountant, Service Charge, to join a busy Finance team of 4 and support the Financial Controller. The Assistant Accountant, Service Charge will be responsible for the day to day transactional accounts, including PurchaseLedger, Service Charge and assisting with Month End.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Assisting with a variety of day-to-day financial operations including Service Charge and Purchase Ledger.
* Provide administrative support to the team and work closely with individuals across the business.
* Preparation of month end month end accounts - assisting the Financial Controller
* Journals
* Pre-payments & accruals
* Preparation of VAT returns and submissions
* Month End Management Accounts Packs
*Service Charge estimates and statements
KEY EXPERIENCE:
* AAT Level 3 or above
* Competent with MS Excel
* Experiencein working with Service charge & Property
