THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a well-established Builders Merchants in South Wales.They're looking to hire an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join a busy Finance team of 20 and reporting into the Finance Manager. The Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper will be responsible for the entire Accounts process, including Month End / Year End and Statutory Accounts
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Assisting with a variety of day-to-day financial operations and basic bookkeeping.
* Provide administrative support to the team and work closely with individuals across the business.
* HMRC Compliance Reporting
* Preparation of accounts to trial balance
* Journals
* Pre-payments & accruals
* Preparation of VAT returns and submissions
* Month End Management Accounts Packs
* Statutory Accounts
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations
KEY EXPERIENCE:
* AAT Level 4 or above
* Competent with MS Excel
* Experience in working in a similar role for 12 months +FOR THIS YOU WILL RECEIVE A COMPETITIVE SALARY OF UP TO £28,000 BASE + STUDY SUPPORT + BENEFITS
