THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a well-established Accountancy Practice, based in Brighton. My client is looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join a busy Accountancy Practice of 8, dealing with a portfolio of clients and assisting the Accounts Manager & Practice Manager run the day-to-day duties of the Practice.
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Data entry, Invoices & management of Suppliers billing/invoice
* Bank & Credit Card reconciliations
* Monitoring customer accounts: debt management & credit control
* Prepare Year End Accounts / Quarterly VAT returns
* Assist in the production of monthly accounts and reports including fixed assets register, aged creditors, balance sheet, P&L
KEY EXPERIENCE:
* AAT level 2 or above
* Competentwith MS Excel
* Xero Accountancy Software (advantageous)
* 1 year's Experience in working in an Accountancy Practice or a busy Accounts function, as an Assistant Accountant / Accounts Assistant
THE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS UP TO £23,000 BASE+ STUDY SUPPORT + BENEFITS
