Get Recruited is partnered with a Growing Software Business, with a head office in the Netherlands and locations across Europe and the UK. The Assistant Accountant is based in the Redditch office and is to support the Head of Finance across the entire accounts process from daily transactional duties to month end management accounting, including budgeting andanalysis and year end accounts. The Assistant Accountant is responsible for.
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
*Recording purchase invoices and raising sales invoices
* Bank reconciliations and credit control
* Processing staff members& credit card expenses
* Answering queries from suppliers and customers
* Maintain (and report into the finance manager) the revenue forecast
* Month end checks and ad hoc reports and analysis
* Intercompany reconciliations and communication* Manage 3rd party contracts and relationships (insurance, banks, car parking etc)
* Continuous process improvements
* Creation of tools for monitoring/control purposes
* Supporting the Finance Manager with analysis and reporting
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports
* Compile other ad hoc analysis and summaries to management to assist in the efficient day to day running of the business
KEY EXPERIENCE:
* AAT/ ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience
* Proficient with MS Systems including Excel
* Experience with Xero desirable
* 2 Years' experience in a similar role
