THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a growing logistics business based in Oldham. My client is looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant to join a busy Finance team of 3 and support the Head of Finance. The Assistant Management Accountant will be dealing with all transactional accounts and collating month end for the Head of Finance. Assistant Management Accountant duties will include.
ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Processing invoices and reconciling purchase invoices /credit notes
* Entering and processing payments on Intact system
* Reconciling Supplier Statements, Credit Card statements and monthly statements
* Creating supplier accounts and filing account forms
* Assist with Sales Ledger including sending invoices and statements to customers
* Dealing with purchase ledger queries internally and externally
* Bank reconciliation and daily banking
* Processing payments
* Assisting the Head of Finance with the monthend process
* Monthly reporting for Head of Finance
* Ad-hoc accounts and administration tasks as required
ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT KEY EXPERIENCE:
* Working in a similar Assistant Management Accountant role for 2 years
* Multi-currency / Foreign Currency experience is desirable
* Competent with MS Excel
* Xero experience desirable
THE ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS UP TO £33,000 BASE + BENEFITS
