Assistant Site Accountant is required for one of the UK leading manufacturing sites based near Park Royal - Northwest London.This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs best loved brands and be part of this iconic company.
Basedin the factory you will provide pivotal support to the Site Leadership Team. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager you willsupport in a range of areas including preparation of quarterly forecasts, budgets and performance reporting.
The successfulAssistant Site Accountant will:
* Be fully or part CIMA qualified.
* Costing experience.
* Experience of making sophisticated financial analysis easily understood in an FMCG/manufacturing background.
* Experience of financial analysis, modellingand investment appraisal techniques
* Experience of using an ERP - SAP or JD Edwards;

Duties of Assistant Site Accountant include:
* Reviewing and reporting performance against agreed budgets and forecasts.
*Ensuring compliance with statutory and group account procedures.
* Business partner to site cost centre managers, supporting them in overheads management.
* Support Finance Manager in budget / quarterly forecasting processes.
* Standard product costing ownership including financial support for the development of new product.
* Ensure robust financial control through maintaining the site asset register, being responsible for timely capitalisation, disposal, asset verification and periodic balance sheet reconciliation review.
* Support and liaising with project leads regarding capital reporting and forecasting.
* Reviewingstatement of process standardisation.
