A Bookkeeper/Banking Operations Officer is sought for a rapidly expanding commercial property company based in Gibraltar. Our client specialises in developing and managing commercial and residential real estate across the US, Europe, the UK and Gibraltar. The Bookkeeper/Banking Operations Officer will have experience of high-volume payment processing, transaction and transfer documentation alongwith some basic bookkeeping including invoicing, payments and billings. Candidates must be able to uphold confidentiality in all aspects of the role.

What You Will Be Doing

* Payment processing - process and manage payment instructions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with established procedures.
* Bank account management - Liaise with banks for payment instructions and daily communication.
* Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, including deposits, withdrawals, and account balances.
* Maintain proper up-to-dateaccounting records.
* Manage invoices, payments, and billing processes.
* Prepare accounting related financial reports formanagement review.
* Documentation and filing - maintain organised records and filing systems.
* Correspondence handling asrequired.
* Hands-on on the ongoing tasks.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

* Keen eye for accuracy and precision in financial records.
* Organisation skills.
* Self-directed, a minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in a similar role.* Computer proficiency (MS Office), Excel good level and familiarity with accounting software.
* Excellent communication skills and a high sense of responsibility.
* Excellent command of spoken and written English.
* Confidentiality - Uphold confidentiality in handling financial and sensitive information.
* Bookkeeping experience and ability to manage and maintain bookkeeping procedures.
