My client, one of the Big 4, Is looking to hire an Associate for Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) within their Financial Services team. This is a permanent opportunity, offering hybridworking scheme, based in Dublin.
You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team combining Assurance and Advisory experience to help clients understand and manage their climate change issues related to new regulatory requirements, rising stakeholder concerns and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue generation.
You'll spend most of your time assisting clients to identify, measure, and manage their business and reporting risks as they transit their organisations in respond to changing government environmental regulations and new trends in sustainability management and reporting.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers.
* Providing guidance in thedelivery of Climate Change & Sustainability Services, with an emphasis on complex and/or specialised issues within Assurance and/or technical sustainability reporting and advisory capacities.
* Identifying and communicating trends, developments, andkey performance drivers relevant to the client, while demonstrating an understanding of the industry and marketplace.
* Supporting client relationships, business development, and account management leadership.
* Conducting performance reviews.
Inorder to be successful, you will have:
* A degree, preferably in finance, accounting, sustainability.
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
* Strong project management and personnel management skills.
* Some experience in audit or in alarge and dynamic organisation.
* experience with any of the following: carbon calculation/PCAF experience/transition pathways/Scope 1, 2,3 emissions.
