Get Recruited are proud to be working with a fantastic business within Financial Services who are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their highly successful team. The role of Compliance Officer will report directly to the CEO and COO and offer full autonomy overthe companies compliance.
As the Compliance Officer you will handle all relationships and communication with governing bodies and legislators such as the FCA and be responsible for the policies and procedures internally.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Compliance Officer from the Financial Services industry, with a strong knowledge of FCA regulations to join a reputable and rewarding business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct internal audits and work with colleagues to address any areas of concern
* Create compliance manuals and frameworks
* Carry out FCA compliance monitoring review
* Regularlyreview compliance documentation to ensure it is in line with regulations
* Carry out analysis of risk by conducting regular risk assessments
* Dealing with day-to-day advice for colleagues
* Regularly review the compliance policies and procedures tostreamline and improve where possible
* Working closely with colleagues and senior management to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and addressing training needs
* Managing relationships and communication with governing bodies and legislators
* Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors
Key Skills & Experience:
* FCA Compliance experience* Experience working within the Financial Services market within a compliance function
* Confident to manage a compliance function self-sufficiently for a small business
* Excellent communication and time management skills at all levels
* High standard of written accuracy
* An organised individual who can work under pressure and produce work to the standard required
*Flexible and adaptable
* Computer literate and aptitude in Microsoft Office
