We arelooking to hire an experienced compliance officer for our client based in Galway.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Compliance and your responsibilities will include provision of a compliance oversight function within the business to includeoutsourced portfolios. This will cover all aspects of asset management and applicable laws and regulations.
You will be playing a key role in a growing business and review and enhance the compliance framework that covers the following areas:
AML/CFTComplaint Management
Fitness and Probity / MCC
CPC/CCMA/SME Regulations
Central Bank of Ireland Guidance and regulatory interaction
Responsibilities
Periodic audits of compliance policies and procedures ensuring alignment with all new legislation, codes of practice and CBI guidance;
Responding to Compliance related queries from operations teams;
Review and develop thecompliance and regulatory framework that underpins the business;
Maintain and enhance an internal risk based compliance monitoring programme;
Preparation and management of responses to formal complaints working closely with the Head of Compliance;
Preparing presentations for board meetings and documenting the objectives and outcomes of the compliance adherence program being operated on the portfolio; and
Managing the routine filing and administration requirements and maintaining a well-organised and structured archive for files and other documents.
Key Requirements
* 3 years' post qualification experience in banking / financial services;
* Professional Certificate / Diploma in Compliance (LCOI);
* Banking and real estate finance experience of facility and security documentation;
