Description:
My client, one of the world's leading accountancy and advisory organisations based in Ireland and other 167 countries, is looking for an experienced Manager/Assistant Manager on a permanent basis to join their successful and expanding Corporate Investment and Business Advisory Department in Dublin
This is a senior appointment with an established and highly successful Fund Manager.
As part of your responsibilities, you will assist with fund lead generation/target companies, draft and negotiate Investment Term Sheets, perform detailed due diligence on prospective investee companies in order to assess projects for investment, and prepare investment proposals and projections.
You will also manage:
* Presentation of investment to the Board of the Fund Manager for approval
* Conducting detailed financial reviews of investee company's trading and financial performance and comparison to projected performance
* Liaising and communicating with legal experts and tax authorities in relation to completion of investments and on-going matters
* On-going monitoring of investee companies and assistinginvestee companies implement recommendations as may be identified/required
* Exits
* Ensure completion of assignments within agreed timeframes
In order to be successful, you will have:
* Due diligence experience and the relevant skills andattributes to assist in investing and managing a portfolio of SME investments.
* A demonstrable track record in either venture capital, private equity, Transaction services, corporate finance or investment banking
* Ability to cover full investment cycle from deal sourcing to analysis, structuring, negotiations, completion and post investment monitoring
* Demonstrable ability to strategically think through with management how to optimise the value of the business and realise a premium upon exit
* Ability to manage a portfolio of SME/growth capital investments with operational, financial and relationship skills
* Strong commercial, negotiation and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills including report writing
*Drive, enthusiasm and ability to work as part of a team are fundamental traits required
* Audit / Corporate Finance / Transaction Services / Advisory career background
* Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Excellent computer Skills - Advanced Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
