Get Recruited is partnered with a well-established manufacturing company in the Manchester area who are looking torecruit a Cost Accountant to join their growing finance team. The Cost Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager andreport directly to the Financial Controller.
MAIN DUTIES:
* Preparing and submitting Management Account packs
* Product Costing and variance analysis
* Stock Reporting
* Oversee stock control and month end stock take procedures
* Budgeting
* Identify trends and areas for margin improvement
* Develop margin control procedures and policies via the MIS system* Develop purchase order policies and supplier compliance procedures.
THE PERSON:
* 2-3 year's experience as a Management Accountant or Cost Accountant
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Manufacturing background beneficial, but not essential.THE PERKS:
