Get Recruited aresupporting a leading Financial Services provider who due to continued growth and success are looking for a Data Protection Compliance Officer to join their Financial Crime Compliance team. As the Compliance Officer you will provide second-line compliancesupport with a focus on data protection working alongside the wider financial crime team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Establishing theprevention processes to be put in place to avoid financial crime alongside senior management
* Providing advice around data protection and financial crime compliance
* Outlining and promoting the governance over how personal data is processed in relevant business areas
* Managing the data privacy / protection program
* Conducting risk and impact assessments with new and existing businesses
* Outlining solutions for identified risks and tracking the remediation activity
* Review and advise on any suspected data protection breaches and Subject Access and Right to be Forgotten Requests
* Reviewing and investigating AML,Fraud and Market Abuse related activities
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience working within the Financial Servicesmarket within a compliance function, ideally within Financial Crime
* Excellent knowledge of Data Protection compliance
* Excellent communication and time management skills at all levels
* High standard of written accuracy
* Excellent administration and telephone skills
* An organised individual who can work under pressure and produce work to the standard required
* Flexible and adaptable
* Computer literate and aptitude in Microsoft Office
