This company is a rapidly growing Fintech company who offer a Finance-as-a-Service platform.

About the roleAs the Client Director you will work with a portfolio of clients, operating as their trusted advisor. You will take day-to-day responsibility for your clients, working with the accounting team and utilising the platform to provide the service offering.This will include transaction support, such as fund raisings and exits, as well as the provision of monthly management information and financial planning.

You are likely to have worked within a Corporate Finance Team, looking to broaden your involvement with your clients and take a more active role in assisting with their development. You will have the skills to support clientsthrough all stages of their development.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the day-to-day relationship across your portfolio of clients and provision of the services to them including:

o Transaction Support

o Financial Planning & Analysis, including Financial Modelling

o Operational Finance, including management reporting and maintenance of accounting records* In respect of Operational Finance, you will be the clients key finance resource and have responsibility for:

o Review ofthe month end accounts' and other deliverables produced by the Accounting Operations team and:

▪ Ensure that they meetthe company's quality requirements - accuracy, insights & timeliness

▪ Production of appropriate commentary withclear presentation of all client-facing outputs to the CFO and in turn the client

o Agreeing and implementing appropriate policies and delegations with your clients

o Management of all statutory reporting requirements (other than corporate / income tax) including the production of annual financial statements and supporting audit requirements

* Primary contact point for theprovision of all other services to the client. This will involve taking instructions from the client, engagement of internal resources to meet the client's requirements, input into and review of the deliverables and management of the project to its completion.

o For Transaction Support Services this will include production of appropriate investor materials, including presentations, population of data rooms, advice on documentation etc.

o For Financial Modelling activities, agreement and review of model inputs, working with our FP&A team in the production of the model, review of model outputs and presentation to the client. This activity is often performed as part of Transaction Support Services o For FP&A projects, defining with the client thescope of the project, deliverables and timetable, working with our FP&A team in their fulfilment

* Co-ordination with the Client Engagement CFO on all aspects of the service provided to your portfolio of clients, which includes the escalation of matters as appropriate

* Working with our CFO team on new client proposals, including the preparation of materials, performingclient compliance procedures and co-ordination of on-boarding



Qualifications and Experience

* Qualified accountant with at least 7 years post qualification experience, ideally within or serving technology or technology related businesses

Intellectually strong, with a problem solving, curious approach

* Agility and pace together with an ability to work and make decisions in an ambiguous, changing environment

* Adept at presenting complex ideas and solutions simply to non-financial audiences

* Attention to detail with strong analytical skills

* Strong Microsoft Office skills

* Desire to work in a fast-paced, start up environment
