FRS Recruitment are recruiting for a Finance Team Lead to join our client in Clara Co Offaly. This is a maternity cover contract with a start in October. The client offer flexible working hours and finish at 1:00 pm every Friday.
This role will include interaction with other departments such as Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, etc. and external stakeholders such as our business partners, suppliers, customs agents, local customs and tax authorities, banks and external auditors.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of quarterly management accounts.
* Coordinate the monthly close process, including but not limited to journal postings, intercompany reconciliations, control account reconciliations etc.
* Manages andassists the annual external audit processes.
* Review and support of weekly payroll
* Credit Control.
* Manages and assists with the Accounts Payable processes.
* Manages all relevant accounting processes and systems and ensure all processes are properly documented.
* Responsible for all Revenue and tax filings.
* Manage the customs processes within the company to include preparing all pre-customs paperwork for the company's truck movements.
* Central Statistic Reporting, Monthly Intrastat and VIESReturns
* Preparation of the production report for management on a weekly basis.
* Adhoc duties as required
Skills and Qualifications:
* Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Minimum 2-3 years post-qualified experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical accounting skills.
* Knowledge of Inward Processing / Outward Processing would be anadvantage.
* In-depth Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required, knowledge of Dimensions and Sage payroll preferred.* Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
* Strong initiative to meet deadlines consistently in an accounting function responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting monthly.
* Prior supervisory experience or project management experience a plus.
* Focused on continuous improvement, learning, and developing new skills.
* Highlevel of integrity and reliability.
Hours of work:
* Monday to Thursday - 8.00am - 5.00pm
