Description:
Due to continued and exciting growth - our client is seeking to hire a FinancialContoller to join their growing team. Based in Castlebar - you will be responsible for the day to day financial function for the company reporting to Global HQ in the US.
You will be 5 years PQE with 3 years + responsibility in running a finance function.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support with the financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and
contract negotiations.
Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
Support subsidiary corporations on transaction and customer related queries, as required.
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
Maintain the fixed asset register for the facility.
Manage the Accounting teamat the facility and oversee the design of an organizational structure
adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

Oversee the accounting operations of the facility, especially the control systems, transaction-processing
operations, and policies and procedures.
Oversee the inventory cycle counting process and calculate key inventory metrics.
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
Ownership of payroll function
Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
Minimum 5 years PQE and experience in a manufacturing industry role is essential.
Experience in analysing financial data and report preparation & presentation, knowledge of Irish GAAP is
essential.
Demonstrated critical and effective decision-making skills with the ability to work on one's own initiative to
resolve competing priorities and with minimum supervision.
Strong commercial background with in-depth knowledge ofERP systems & product costing.
Strong accounting knowledge of AP, AR, Inventory & GL, and month-end experience.
