18 month FTC
Twickenham basedwith travel to offices in City, Watford and Godalming
£45,000- £55,000 + Hybrid working

One of the most well-respected insurance brokers in London are looking for a Group Finance Business Partner for an 18-month maternity leave cover.

The Role of Group Finance BusinessPartner:
* You will be acting as a bridge between Finance and all other departments particularly within Budget Holders for overheads.
* Provide support and ability to impact the day-to-day decision making and must be able to demonstrate forward- thinking ensuring that departments are meeting company's financial targets.
* Ensure all Budget Holders know where they are vs target and why.
* You must be a trusted team member within Finance and across the business.
* You must be approachable with excellent communication skills. You must be able to communicate financial information clearly to non-Finance stakeholders.
* You must be able to understand data and what is required from you to present to various departments. You should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders - be internal or external.
* You must be confident and possess strong interpersonal skills.
* You must take a proactive approach and present information clearly throughout the organisation.
* Attention to details is also a must and be able to accept change and look for efficiencies.
Monthly reports to produce include:* Detailed spends and variance analysis for each Head of the Departments: IT, Marketing, E-Commerce, HR and Facilities
* Detailed Marketing Analysis - inclusive of full year forecast
* Prepayment schedules
* CAPEX Summary
* Staff Cost Ratio
* Business Partnering adjustments for finalising P&L
* Manual journals

Monthly and fortnightly review include:

* Payment runs for both KLL and TDI
* Credit card postings
* SAP Concur pending transactions, Purchase request and Purchase invoices* Quarterly Report and other ad-hoc include:
* Zurich Report for TDI
* Mid-Year Forecasts on Overheads
* Budget Setting- supporting Overheads Budget Holders
* Interim and Year End Audit

Experience Required:
The job requires some understanding/knowledge of (training will be provided):

* Microsoft Office Packages: Strong Excel Skills, Word, Power point, Outlook
* SAGE 50 Accounting package
* The insurance sector / basic insurance principles not essential as relevant training will be provided * Some knowledge of TAM or Open GI preferable, though not essential.
* The Data Protection Act 1998 (training provided)
* The Equality Act 2012 and The Bribery Act 2010 (training provided)
* The general functions of all other areas of the Company and how these relate to this role
