Description:
Our client is seeking to appoint an Interim CFO to their organisation for a minimum of 6 months while undertaking to search for their new permanent CFO.
The role is beingoffered as a hybrid with 2 days from home and 3 days in the office in Dublin. You will ideally have a commercial background witha strong understanding of the charity sector and HSE funding knowledge would be highly beneficial.
KEY TASKS:
* To prepare forecasts, budgets and cash flows for the Group and for all subsidiary companies forming the Group.
* To ensure adherenceto financial protocols, maintenance of ledgers & accounting processes.
* Cash management and treasury responsibilities.* Oversight of the payroll and other shared services processes.
* Creation and maintenance of analytical tools to assist in the effective running, management and development of a network of 50+ charity shops.
* Manage and oversee the accounting requirements of Retail sector, developing analytical reports for improving operational performance.
* To provide financial information and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
* Management of and reporting on the cash, assets and other resourcesas a whole.
* Preparation of all matters for the annual audit and contributing to the accompanying reports.
* To have overall responsibility to provide/ensure that comprehensive financial reports are furnished on a timely basis to the various meetingsof boards & sub-committees of boards.
* To oversee the preparation and presentation of the statutory and management accounts of Group and subsidiary companies.
* Ensure that financial and procurement policies and procedures are robust and are followed throughout the organisation.
* HSE Section 39 Finance relationship management.
