THE OPPORTUNITY:Get Recruited is partnered with an established Solicitors based in Lincoln. The Law firm have gone from strength to strength over the last few years and are looking to continue growth by hiring into their Accounts Team. They're looking to hire a Legal Cashier to join an Accounts team of 4 including 2 x Assistant Legal Cashier's a Head Cashier, and an Accounts Manager. The role reports directly into the Accounts Manager
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Bank reconciliations
* Preparing and authorising onlineelectronic bank transfers, i.e. CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payment
* Office disbursement payments
* Dealing with incoming cheques
* Invoice payments
* Ad hoc accounts tasks
* Answering any accounts queries internally and externally
* Working knowledge and understanding of Accounts rules in Legal - SRA
* Support with the management of the cashiering queries inbox ensuringtimely and accurate responses are delivered to stakeholders
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
* 1 years' + experience working in the finance function of a Law Firm / Solicitors
* Experience of working in or with a Conveyancing team
* Competent Excel
* Experience with Case Management Software Law Fusion desirable
