Management Accountant
4-month contract - NHS Trust, Middlesbrough
£180 per day

Overview:
You will be required to support the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner in the overall financial management of your collaborative.
And to include budget, forecasting and review of the accounts to ensure they are accurate and meet Trust reporting deadlines and statutory/regulatory requirements. T
Also, to enable your Finance Business Partner to support and adviseon strategic and operational decision-making through provision of data and analysis to drive better business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Control and governance - produce or interrogate data to support your FBP to approve spend and resource.
* produce accurate monthly forecasting in collaboration with budget holders with minimal supervision or review, provide challenge to improve outcomes using financial and centre knowledge.
* Profitability analysis and financials for service development proposals
* CIP delivery
* Service Level Optimisation
* Financial Literacy training
* Continuous improvement
key Skills/Knowledge:
* Knowledge of NHS Foundation Trust regime
* Knowledge of strategic and policy background, performance management and financial framework of the NHS
* Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
