THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a Global Leading Manufacturing business, based in Telford. After continued growth, my client is looking to hire a Management Accountant to work alongside the Assistant Financial Controller and report into the Financial Controller. The Management Accountant will join a busy finance team of 12 and be responsible for;
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Development and preparation of labour productivity reports, analysing and identifying key variances.
* Assist with the preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasts.
* Preparation of monthly stock and Cost of Sales journals.
* Completion of monthlystock balance sheet account reconciliation.
* Verification and recording of month-end inventory cut-off tests.
* Organisingand managing quarterly stock takes
* Counting and verifying MRO stock position on a monthly basis
* Reconciliation of stockadjustments
* Preparation and analysis of internal scrap
* Preparation and analysis of Costs of Quality
* Preparation ofScrap Sales invoices
* Tracking and accruing quality concerns
* Maintain and update rolling stock forecast, identifying variances to prior forecasts.
* Verification and updating in SAP of standard costs for materials, labour and overheads.
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT KEY EXPERIENCE:
* Newly or Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA
* Costing/Manufacturing experience essential.
* Advanced Excel skills
THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS UP TO ﾃつ｣45,000 BASE + BENEFITS + STUDY SUPPORT
