Description:
Our client with offices in Athy, Kildare, is now seeking tohire a skilled Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role is offeredas on-site.
Your new role:
Your role will play an integral part of our business to provide tax advice and ensure tax compliance for our customers. Your main responsibilities:
Prompt attention to our customer needs
Accurate assessments
Processing of tax returns across various tax heads such as Income Tax,CGT and Corporation Tax
Identifying opportunities and communicating these through our Client Relationship Management system toour customers
Liaising with the team at all levels to ensure all tasks are handled efficiently
Your skills and attributes:A knowledge of the Irish PAYE and Income tax system essential.
Experience using ROS, and also liaising with Revenue Commissioners in relation to various returns, queries etc.
Experience using Sage accounts (preparing both sole trade and company accounts)- is an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge of Companies Registration Office Core portal.
Experience working in an accountancy practice - is an advantage but not essential.
Must be capable of prioritising workload to meet strict deadlines.
Abilityto work on own initiative and as part of a team.
You need to be ambitious, hard-working and familiar with working in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
Excellent attention to detail/accuracy.
The ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with varying types of customers.
You will be adept in using Microsoft 365 applications.
You will be able to work from ouroffice in Athy, Co. Kildare.
