Description:
My client, the 8th largest accountancy firm in the UK also operating in Ireland and the Nordics, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Accounts & Business Advisory Department in Enniscorthy, Wexford.
The job is permanent and hybrid.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the business with a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries.
* Taking responsibility for successfully delivering accountingengagements within agreed timelines, including client and team communications.
* Planning and executing of audits and accounting engagements and supporting the team. Mentor and guide trainees and junior staff
* Preparation and Review of sole trader andcompany Financial Statements, under relevant accounting standard and in compliance with Companies Acts.
* Understanding of relevant taxes and the tax system, including VAT, Payroll, RCT and income taxes.
* Managing key relationships with external parties
In terms of qualifications, an accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA is essential for this role alongside experience within an accountancy practice.
My client will provide you with ongoing mentoring and coaching as you continue to develop personally.
