Description:
My client, the 8th largest accountancy firmin the UK also operating in Ireland and the Nordics, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Accounts & BusinessAdvisory Department in Dublin.
The job is permanent and hybrid.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the business with a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries.
* Taking responsibility for successfully delivering accounting engagements within agreed timelines, including client and team communications.
* Planning and executing of auditsand accounting engagements and supporting the team. Mentor and guide trainees and junior staff
* Preparation and Review of sole trader and company Financial Statements, under relevant accounting standard and in compliance with Companies Acts.
* Understanding of relevant taxes and the tax system, including VAT, Payroll, RCT and income taxes.
* Managing key relationships withexternal parties
Main requirements:
1) an accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA is essential
2) At least2 years experience within an accountancy practice in Ireland.
My client will provide you with ongoing mentoring and coaching as you continue to develop personally.
